To thrive as a Streaming Content Creator, you need strong on-camera presence, content creation skills, and a deep understanding of your target audience, often supported by experience or knowledge in media production or digital marketing. Familiarity with streaming platforms like Twitch or YouTube Live, video editing software, and broadcasting tools such as OBS Studio is typically required. • Master the Tech:We will train you to operate a TriCaster, empowering you to independently produce, direct, and anchor your very own streaming broadcasts.
  • Be a Team Player:Seamlessly transition between leading your own live, on-air coverage and jumping in to support your teammates behind the camera.

What You'll Need:

  • Strong knowledge of current events
  • Proven ability to communicate clearly and confidently both on-air and behind the scenes in a fast-paced, unscripted breaking news environment.
  • Excellent editorial judgment, research skills, and attention to detail.
  • Basic experience with digital news production, live streaming workflows, and newsroom technologies. Familiarity of TriCaster a plus, but willingness and ability to learn technology quickly is a must.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and think several steps ahead.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and pivot quickly as news develops.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, weekends, and holidays as news demands.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Writing Mastery: Flawless writing and copy-editing skills, with proficiency in English grammar and conversational broadcast style.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with video production technology, including non-linear editing (Adobe Premiere Pro) and video switching tools.
  • Judgment: Exceptional news and editorial judgment with a deep commitment to ethical integrity.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

  • Physicality: Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and reach; must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
  • Vision: Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, and color vision, as well as the ability to adjust focus.
  • Schedule: Must be able to work varied hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays, and during severe weather situations.
