The Streaming Production Assistant is responsible for assisting producers and senior producers with the program development, creative and editorial direction of CBS Sports. We bring our passion for sports and love of our work, serving up sports content to fans everywhere, and this role will help us succeed in that mission. 

This position requires flexibility, as nights, weekends, and holidays are a regular part of the schedule. The role operates on a swing shift, with hours from 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM, and is based onsite at our Stamford, CT office.

Responsibilities include:
   Responsible for cutting highlights, writing shot sheets and running the DreamCatcher video playback machine.
   Cutting VOs and SOTs to elevate the storytelling of a particular game or story.
   Posting VODs and highlights to CBSsports.com
Qualifications:
   Knowledge and experience using Adobe Premiere Pro.
   Extensive knowledge of all major sports, college football, college basketball, golf, gambling and fantasy.
   Highlight cutting experience is preferred.
   Must have a strong writing background.
   Must perform well under pressure and have a great eye and attention to detail.
   Passion for storytelling.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $42,400.00 - 63,600.00. 

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.  The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable,  as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
