Job description

A leading national consumer goods company based in Miami, FL is hiring a Business Development Manager to lead growth across major national retail and e-Commerce accounts (Amazon, Home Depot, Lowe’s).

In this key commercial role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for major national retail and e-Commerce accounts while collaborating closely with internal teams across Sales, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance.

The ideal candidate brings a strong balance of strategic account management, commercial negotiation, and hands-on experience driving account performance through major retail vendor portals and ERP platforms.


What You Will Do
  • Develop and execute strategic business plans to hit sales, margin, and revenue targets across key retail and digital sales channels.
  • Act as the primary commercial lead for buyers and category leads, identifying new business expansion opportunities and optimizing product assortments.
  • Lead B2B sales negotiations covering wholesale pricing structures, promotional calendars, trade terms, and margin expansion strategies.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Accounting, and Leadership to ensure order fulfillment, product availability, and promotional alignment.
  • Oversee digital merchandising, catalog integrity, listing optimization, and promotional execution within national vendor portals.
  • Analyze sales performance metrics, POS data, and inventory levels using ERP systems to ensure demand forecasting accuracy and healthy stock levels.
  • Prepare and deliver periodic business reviews for executive stakeholders and mentor junior key account team members when required.


What We Are Looking For
  • 3–5+ years managing major national retail or e-Commerce accounts (Amazon, Home Depot, Lowe’s).
  • Demonstrated success managing major national retail or e-Commerce accounts through established vendor portals.
  • Strong proficiency in B2B price negotiation, promotional planning, margin optimization, and account P&L management.
  • Hands-on experience operating within enterprise platforms (Acumatica highly preferred, or similar systems like NetSuite/SAP) for order management, inventory tracking, and pricing control.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities for sales pipeline tracking, inventory reporting, and commercial modeling.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).


Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in consumer goods, durable goods, hardware, or related retail distribution channels.
  • Proven track record in preparing executive-level business reviews and representing brands at trade events.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing drivers, retail advertising, and marketplace optimization.
