At Angelus, we\'re looking for a Strategic Business Development Manager (SBDM) who thrives at the intersection of strategy, innovation, technology, and relationship building. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Global Sales & Product Management, this highly visible role will play a critical part in identifying and advancing the opportunities that will define Angelus\' next stage of growth.

Additional Responsibilities and Opportunities:
  • Evaluate organic growth, partnerships, licensing, and M&A alternatives to recommend the strongest path for pursuing strategic opportunities.
  • Scout emerging technologies, expanding A&D market segments, and evolving B2B service models through industry events, seminars, consortiums, and market research.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, engineering, and product management teams to evaluate competitive landscapes, technologies, and market opportunities.
  • Support the transition of approved proposals from Business Development to the Project Management Office or Executive Team for execution, engaging in commencement activities, and occasionally participating as a member of implementation teams.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree in engineering, finance, business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Five or more years of experience in the aerospace and defense industry or the interconnect solutions market preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write reports, facilitate meetings, present recommendations, and respond confidently to executive and customer questions.
  • Strong business acumen, including an understanding of market dynamics, competition, macroeconomic factors, financial analysis, risk, and strategic planning.
