Job description

Director of Operations role with an excellent design/manufacturing company. Location is northern suburb of Milwaukee/upper Fox River basin area. Lead and oversee manufacturing, engineering, warehousing, inventory and shipping through 5 direct reports. Develop and execute strategies that enhance productivity, ensure quality, control costs and drive on-time delivery performance.

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute operational strategies to support growth and profitability objectives

Manufacturing & Production

  • Lead manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, and delivery standards.

Engineering & Product Support

  • Direct engineering teams to support product development, customization, and continuous improvement.

Warehousing, Inventory & Logistics, Distribution

  • Manage warehouse operations to optimize storage, handling, and distribution efficiency.
  • Oversee inventory control systems to maintain accuracy and minimize excess or obsolete stock.

Field Services/Installation

  • Oversight for field services/ installation.

Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across all operational areas.
  • Implement process improvements, automation, and technology solutions to enhance operational capability.

People Management/Leadership

  • Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing operations & fulfillment teams.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
