The Project Manager Strategic Initiatives leads project teams for multiple projects; overseeing budgets, schedules, resources and deliverables for those projects. This position is responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, execution and completion of projects while ensuring they remain aligned with the business needs, strategy, and remain within scope. The role translates strategic intent of the network optimization effort into executable initiatives, ensuring value realization through rigorous analysis, structured governance, disciplined execution, and effective change management.


The Project Manager Strategic Initiatives ensures that the project adds value to the business by prioritizing projects and communicating to the relevant stakeholders, including oversight committees.

Role remains focused on Master Plan aligned strategic initiatives and developing the needed documentation and structure to scale up network optimization efforts.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field required.
  • An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in project management required.
  • Experience in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry, with exposure to a manufacturing environment, is preferred.
  • Experience in change management and in leading transition and implementation initiatives. Strong negotiation skills required.
  • Excellent understanding of financial aspects required.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a matrixed and multicultural environment required.
  • Bilingualism in French and English, both written and spoken, required.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and rolespecific software.
