PROGRAM DETAILS:
Our Emerging Talent Programs, which includes Interns and Trainees, offer unique opportunities for students, recent graduates, and emerging talent to work alongside the teams that come together to create movies, TV shows, and other great experiences. These seasonal, paid assignments provide meaningful and productive work that builds your experience and develops your skills further. You will be provided with challenging tasks, real-world experience, and many educational and social networking opportunities.
This Summer Internship is from June through August (start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules) and all Candidates must be able to work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday in person at the specified office location. This position is ideal for a Students enrolled in an accredited college or university are interested in continuing their education through professional experience.
The Insights, Strategy & Analytics team works in a consultative manner with Senior Executives and Content, Strategy, Production, and Marketing leaders to deliver insights, operational support, and strategic tools that inform creative development, content strategy, production planning, and marketing.
Our role is to deeply understand the television production landscape, audience and marketplace trends, content priorities, and business needs to support smarter decision-making across the organization. The team combines research, analytics, strategic thinking, operational coordination, and clear communication to help stakeholders move work forward more efficiently.
The team is looking for an Insights, Strategy & Operations Intern to support research, project coordination, team operations, reporting, and executive-facing deliverables. This intern will help organize information, synthesize key takeaways, support workflow improvements, and contribute to projects that inform content, production, and business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and track research, strategy, social, and operations projects across multiple workstreams to ensure alignment and execution.

  • Prepare presentations, briefing materials, research summaries, meeting notes, and executive-ready deliverables.

  • Synthesize research, stakeholder feedback, and business context into clear insights and actionable recommendations.

  • Conduct research on media industry trends, audience behavior, competitive programming, production, streaming, and linear TV.

  • Manage team operations, including project tracking, stakeholder requests, timelines, documentation, and process improvements.

  • Drive cross-functional collaboration and support AI-enabled workflows, knowledge sharing, and operational efficiencies across Content, Strategy, Marketing, Production, Research, and Analytics teams.

Qualifications
  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, Economics, Psychology, Sociology, Film/TV, or related field.

  • Strong communication, organization, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Skilled at analyzing and synthesizing information into clear, actionable insights and presentations.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools, including PowerPoint/Slides, Excel/Sheets, and Word.

  • Passion for media and entertainment, with a proactive mindset and ability to collaborate effectively across creative and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting research, strategy, operations, project coordination, communications, or business planning projects

  • Experience creating presentations, summaries, trackers, status updates, or process documentation

  • Strong storytelling skills and ability to organize information into a clear narrative

  • Interest in television production, content development, streaming platforms, audience insights, or media strategy

  • Proactive self-starter with the ability to work through ambiguity and seek clarity

  • Familiarity with AI tools or emerging workplace productivity tools is a plus, but not required

The anticipated base salary for this position is $19/hour. This role may also qualify for comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
