The Role
As a Strategy & Operations Intern, you will work directly with the Director of Strategy & Operations, Care Transformation to evaluate new growth opportunities, support operational improvements, and drive high-priority strategic initiatives across TimelyCare. This role sits on the Care Transformation Team, within the Care department, and is designed for a highly analytical and entrepreneurial problem-solver who is excited to tackle ambiguous business challenges and develop recommendations that influence strategic decision making. Throughout the internship, you will independently own discrete workstreams, conducting research, analysis, and business case development to help inform strategic and operational decisions.

  • 20 hours per week

What You'll Do
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to assess emerging trends, market opportunities, and competitive dynamics
  • Analyze internal and external data to identify insights, quantify opportunities, and validate strategic recommendations
  • Structure and manage project plans for assigned initiatives, ensuring milestones, deliverables, and timelines remain on track
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to gather inputs, test assumptions, and refine strategic recommendations
  • Build presentations and communicate findings to stakeholders, helping to inform recommendations for senior leadership
  • Support operational improvement initiatives that increase organizational effectiveness and scalability
  • Help evaluate and define business processes, workflows, reporting needs, and operating models to support future growth
  • Performs additional tasks and projects as needed to support the evolving needs of team objectives and company goals

What You Bring
  • 3- 5+ years experience in consulting, strategy, startups, technology, healthcare, finance, operations, or education (preferred but not required)
  • Currently enrolled in an MBA program, completed an MBA, or planning to begin an MBA in the near future (non-MBA candidates with relevant operator experience welcome to apply) preferred
  • Self-starter with strong analytical skills and intellectual curiosity; proactively seeks answers to complex problems, with the ability to bring actionable, clear steps to ambiguity
  • Combines confidence in independent-problem-solving with the humility to seek input, challenge assumptions, and refine recommendations
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to communicate with diverse audiences
  • Motivated by opportunities to make a meaningful impact on student well-being, success, and outcomes

The hourly base pay rate for this opportunity is $25.00.
