Job Title: Strategy & Business Development Manager
Reports to: VP, Strategy & Business Development
Location: Goleta, CA (Hybrid)
Typically 3 times per week in office, Tuesday - Thursday
The Role
As the Strategy & Business Development Manager, you'll be a key member of the Corporate Strategy & Business Development Team. You'll help develop, articulate, and steward the enterprise and brands' long-range strategic plans, identify and manage organic growth opportunities, and bring key insights to global leadership. You'll also play a critical role in evaluating and executing external investment opportunities that align with our portfolio strategy.

Your Impact
  • Support enterprise strategic planning by collaborating with VP Strategy, Brand Strategy Teams, and Marketplace Strategy Teams
    • Assist in developing corporate, enterprise, brand, and marketplace strategic direction, growth initiatives, playbook, and execution plan
    • Provide insight-driven recommendations, research, presentation support, and financial modeling for strategy planning and Board of Directors meetings
  • Manage and govern strategic initiatives across enterprise, brand, and marketplace
    • Track reporting, KPIs, project management, and coordination
    • Support special projects within brands, regions, and channels, including new market launches and product acceleration
    • Align organization around major brand strategies and key growth initiatives
  • Deliver data, insights, analytics, AI, financial, and scenario modeling support
    • Provide ad hoc data, insights, and analytic/modeling support for enterprise, brand, and marketplace strategies
    • Explore new technologies, tools, services, and AI to improve strategic planning processes
  • Analyze and report monthly and quarterly market and competitive insights
    • Provide regular updates to leadership and Board of Directors
    • Support Brand and Marketplace Strategy Teams with competitive and market data, trends, and insights

Who You Are
  • Hold a BA degree, preferably in sciences, technology, business, or economics
  • Bring 6+ years of experience in consulting, strategic planning, or business analysis
  • Highly organized, able to handle multiple priorities and keep the team on track
  • Combine analytical and creative skillsets to solve complex problems
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong executive presence
  • Highly collaborative, enjoy helping others succeed and sharing in team success
  • Strong analytic thinker, comfortable using data to identify trends, explain observations, and draw meaningful implications
