Stores Manager Water Department (Pipeline Division)
Location: 2409 E. 18th St.
Pay: $20.88$31.32 per hour
Schedule: Weekends, 7:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

Responsibilities
 
What youll do
  • Supervise stock operations by planning and assigning work to stock staff so materials are available when crews need them.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records to support timely replenishment and prevent shortages or overstock.
  • Estimate stock needs and recommend inventory level adjustments based on operational demand.
  • Inspect incoming materials to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance before approval for payment.
  • Coordinate with department staff to improve inventory processes and respond to changing material needs.
  • Review inventory results and recommend updates to procedures to improve efficiency and control.

Qualifications
 

REQUIRES:

  • High school graduation and 3 years experience in the requisition, receipt, storage, control, and issuance of a large variety of materials, tools, parts, fuels, or other stock items. Such experience is to be of an increasingly responsible nature including 2 years at the level of Stock Clerk. 
  • Must pass a preemployment drug screen and physical examination as prescribed by the City.
