Job description

Assistant eCommerce Store Manager

Philadelphia, PA

Pay Rate: $22-25/hour

Role Overview
Assist in managing day-to-day operations and wellbeing of artist/label eCommerce stores. Work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to execute product activations, new store launches, order fulfillment, backend updates, and storefront maintenance—optimizing customer experience and revenue. Opportunities to innovate with emerging digital music tech.

Key Responsibilities (How you’ll CREATE)

  • Manage product setup for eCommerce stores.

  • Assist Store Managers in setting up/maintaining store environments; lead as needed.

  • Update products, descriptions, images, and customer-facing info for optimal frontend functionality.

  • Handle one-off platform updates.

  • Coordinate product restocks, inventory adjustments, and reporting.

  • Collaborate with Account Managers for timely new launch/store details from clients.

  • Assist with logistics, warehouse management, fulfillment partners, and customer service for seamless experiences.

  • Conduct periodic client reports; use sales data to recommend revenue-driving strategies.

Requirements (Bring your VIBE)

  • 1+ years in merchandising, project management, eCommerce, logistics/supply chain, music business, or related.

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred: Business, Merchandising, or related).

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Office).

  • Project management tools (Monday.com, Asana) a plus.

  • Shopify Plus experience or knowledge.

  • Extremely detail-oriented, highly organized self-starter.

  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving skills.

  • Strong written/verbal communication; thrives in teams.

  • Handles strict deadlines, fast-paced environments, shifting priorities, and multiple projects.
