Job Description
The Store Room Coordinator is responsible for monitoring all supplies received in and issued from the storeroom. The position is responsible for assisting in the establishment and maintenance of the storeroom organization, processes and procedures. The Stores Coordinator is ultimately responsible for the effective execution and set up of all activities in the Storeroom, and activities involving direct interface with maintenance, production, and plant leadership. He/she is responsible for the safety and security of all materials stored in the Storeroom, and for the effective and efficient movement of materials as directed by maintenance, production or plant leadership. The Stores Coordinator is responsible for the direct leadership, guidance, motivation, and discipline of the Stores Clerks. Reconcile all documents associated with orders placed to ensure accuracy. Assist with parts inventory process, counting, entering inventory counts in appropriate software. Maintain related records providing information and assistance to management concerning individual purchasing actions and general purchasing procedures. Perform invoice matching
Qualifications
  • Excellent attendance record and disciplinary record.
  • Experience in verifying and processing invoices in our invoice verification system.
  • Experience in researching and receiving missing delivery notes to facilitate 3-way match for invoices/purchase orders.
  • Ability to supervise staff in the performance of duties to include: shipping, receiving, stocking, inventory cycle counts and attendance according to Kronospan Policies/Procedures and tasks outlined by Manger.
  • Strong organizational and housekeeping skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to carry out written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to work without direct supervision
  • Strong customer service skills, teamwork, and a strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Must be able to operate office equipment, computer, printers, copiers, etc., which includes all physical abilities required for data input.
  • Must be able to lift and move files weighing up to 20lbs several times a day.
  • Must be able to comprehend purchasing software and documents.
  • Must be able to maintain concentration and accuracy despite frequent interruptions.
  • Must be able to accept and be willing to support purchasing policies, procedures and guidelines at all times
  • Must be able to effectively and quickly learn the optimum methods to achieve maximum efficiency while using established policies/procedures/guidelines.
  • Excellent computer skills especially in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word as well as data entry skills
  • Ability to use Phoenix, K-Soft, and Docuware

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 3+ years of purchasing experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment
  • Minimum High school graduate or equivalent; preferred bachelor's degree in a planning, or purchasing discipline
  • Advanced knowledge of purchasing processes and procedures
