Student Employment Opportunity: Campus Store Floor Help
**This position is for current Palmer College of Chiropractic students only.
Function:
A Palmer Campus Store Work Study is responsible for for assisting customers, selling, cashiering/cash handling, stocking the sales floor and checking in newly received products. They are expected to report for all shifts and to give responsible notice if not able to work their scheduled shift. It is also their responsibility to find a replacement for a shift they are not able to work.
Organizational Relationship:
A Palmer Campus Store Work Study is an ambassador for the Campus Store and taking the responsibility for showing and promoting their Palmer Pride in representing the Campus Store and college. Assisting in sales goals for the Campus Store through word of month and wearing Palmer branded apparel. They are to be a team player to the Campus Store department fellow Campus Store Work Studies and college personnel as necessary.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service / Selling
  • Cleaning, straightening, folding
  • Re-stocking and keeping sales floor full
  • Operate cash register
  • Answer phones
  • Take customer orders
  • Product knowledge
  • Perform other duties as assigned
General Qualifications needed to perform role:
  • Current Student at Palmer College of Chiropractic (DC or Under Grad Programs)
  • Operate cash register / accurate cash handling
  • Business casual physical appearance
  • General mathematic skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Creativity in merchandising
  • Professional Customer Service
  • Perform other Duties as assigned

Student's length of employment will be from the date of hire until termination either by student or the supervisor not to exceed the student's graduation from Palmer College.
