OverviewProvide guidance and leadership to an assigned region to ensure the execution of Shelf Merchandising strategies in alignment with annual Category Review Cycles and total store resets. Provide team leadership to Reset Teams and coordinate projects to effectively execute center store on-shelf merchandising plans. Coordinate and collaborate with Retail Operations, Construction Services, Purchasing, and all functions associated with Center Store Merchandising for new stores, remodels and Banner requested projects. Deliver quality store resets, maintain "best-in-class" completion rates of assigned projects, and provide retail support through direct supervision and talent development of assigned team.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and accountability for renewal reset teams and regional cycle reset teams. Responsible for providing direction, leadership, and performance management of reset teams.
  • Provide supervision, leadership, and guidance to contracted reset team up to 50 members to ensure the effective execution of assigned Total Store Resets. Make recommendations to support team leadership regarding concerns with associate retention, staff levels and performance counseling.
  • Serve as the point person for total store resets accountable for meeting timelines and desired outcomes by applying best practices and using subject matter expertise.
  • Coordinate and develop effective sequencing schedule and project plans for assigned projects.
  • Collaborate with Retail Managers, Shelf Merchandising and Construction Project Managers, and other key business partners to coordinate and implement new store and remodel shelf merchandising projects. This includes all preplanning, scheduling and oversight to minimize the impact to retail operations and customers shopping experience.
  • Maintain productive relationships with Retail Operations and all functional business areas in relation to new stores, remodels, and cycle resets providing feedback appropriately to improve retail execution.
  • Monitor monthly Cycle Reset Teams on reset performance through store visits, communicating with retail operators, analyzing status reporting and complete compliance audits in support of category reviews.
  • Communicate scheduling details and general information to Reset Teams and supporting contractors as needed to enhance execution.
  • Escalate issues found when executing plan-o-grams to the POG Specialist as needed. Serve as a liaison between Retail and the corporate office in support of Shelf Merchandising needs.
  • Coordinate and implement special projects as requested and approved by the Brand.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of combined experience in shelf merchandising, store resets, Retail Operations, and directing/leading others.
  • Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • This position requires extensive travel (up to 90%) with overnight stays, out of town stays, regular night and/or weekend work.
  • Must have the ability to lift up-to 60 lbs. in support of assigned reset activity.
  • Proficient in Email, Word, Excel.
  • Proven ability to lead, develop and supervise a staff based in multiple remote locations.
  • Strong organizational and project planning skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities/work stream projects simultaneously in an ever changing fast paced work environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively with all levels of Management and Retail through multiple forms of communication (written and verbal).
  • Strong organizational skills with proven ability to set priorities and schedule work to execute established timelines, adjusting as needed.
  • Strong teamwork, collaboration, and motivational skills to drive a team toward needed outcomes.
  • Driven to meet expectations using extensive problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel (overnight stays) to and from assigned work location based on project assignment and project support.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, or related field.
  • 3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong understanding of Retail/Corporate Departmental Management.
  • Knowledge of category merchandising principles and/or Store Reset processes.

ME/NC/PA/SC Salary Range: $63,440-$95,160
IL/MA/MD/NY Salary Range: $72,880 - $109,320
