Job description

We are looking for a Junior Estimator to join our team in Edison, NJ. This role is ideal for someone with 1–2 years of construction experience who wants to grow their career in estimating.

This is not a design or drafting role—the focus is on reading plans, performing take-offs, gathering pricing, and supporting the bid process for commercial tile and stone projects.


What You’ll Do

  • Review and interpret construction drawings and project specifications
  • Perform quantity take-offs for tile, stone, and related materials
  • Assist in preparing accurate and competitive bids and proposals
  • Request and compare pricing from vendors and subcontractors
  • Organize and track multiple bids and project documentation
  • Support project managers with budgeting and estimating tasks


What We’re Looking For

  • Ability to read construction drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with estimating or takeoff software is a plus
  • 1–2 years of construction experience preferred
  • Tile or stone experience is a plus, but not required
