Job description

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Digital Marketing Product Owner (PIM/DAM) is accountable for the ownership and governance of Product Information Management (PIM) and Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms for the Doors business unit. This role works cross-functionally with marketing, commercial teams and Global Information Services (IT), ensuring that product data and digital assets are accurate, scalable, governed, and optimized for omnichannel customer experiences. The role combines digital product leadership, data strategy, platform governance, integration management, and enablement to drive adoption and business value.
Reports to: Sr. Manager, Marketing Technology & Analytics
Span of Control: Indirect leadership of platform execution and support resources. Contributor to future platform resourcing and operating model design.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Doors PIM Product Ownership
Platform Ownership
  • Serve as Doors Business Product Owner for PIM platforms (e.g., Stibo STEP, PDX).
  • Define and maintain the PIM platform usage, aligned to vision, roadmap, and business and marketing needs.
  • Ensure PIM capabilities support Doors internal needs as well as retail and wholesale syndication and downstream channel requirements

Data Modeling & Management
  • Own data modeling, hierarchies, attributes, relationships, and business rules.
  • Govern new and existing product data, including enrichment, lifecycle changes, and quality standards.
  • Define and maintain standards for data creation, validation, and consistency.
  • Establish and enforce data governance and quality monitoring practices.

Integrations, Deployments & Syndication
  • Partner with IT on integration management, deployments, and release planning.
  • Own integration prioritization between PIM and downstream systems.
  • Oversee syndication models supporting retail and wholesale partners.

Training & Enablement
  • Own documentation, training, and enablement for PIM users.
  • Drive platform adoption, change management, and capability maturity across Doors teams.

Doors DAM Product Ownership
Platform & Data Structure
  • Serve as Doors Business Product Owner for DAM platforms (e.g. Acquia DAM/Widen).
  • Define and govern asset data and metadata structures, taxonomy, and standards.
  • Define DAM capability maturity aligned to Doors and enterprise needs, prioritizing enhancements based on business value

Integrations & Portal Management
  • Partner with IT on integration management with PIM and other enterprise platforms.
  • Govern portal administration, access models, and enablement standards.
  • Oversee individual portal creation and ongoing management.

Governance & User Management
  • Define and enforce DAM governance, including asset lifecycle and usage rules.
  • Establish standards for asset upload, tagging, and discontinuation.
  • Own user and role management models in partnership with IT.

Training & Enablement
  • Own DAM training, documentation, and enablement strategy.
  • Drive platform adoption, change management, and capability maturity across Doors teams.

Other Doors Digital Marketing Tools
  • Serve as administrator and product owner for additional digital marketing tools as assigned (e.g., Hotjar, Osano, CRM/CE, customer portal, etc.).
  • Define governance models, user management standards, and operating processes.
  • Partner with IT on access control, integrations, and platform sustainability.

Website Content Authoring Support
  • Provide content authoring support as needed to ensure platform continuity and data integrity.
  • Ensure content aligns with established platform standards and governance.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 6-8 years of experience in digital marketing platforms, product management, marketing technology, or data management roles within complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Experience in manufacturing, building products, or highly configurable product environments.
  • Proven experience serving as a business product owner for enterprise platforms, with direct accountability for administration, governance, adoption, and value realization.
  • Hands-on experience with Product Information Management (PIM) platforms (e.g., Stibo STEP and PDX, Salsify or similar), including data modeling, governance, and syndication.
  • Experience owning or governing Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms (e.g., Acquia DAM/Widen or similar), including metadata strategy, taxonomy, and lifecycle management.
  • Strong understanding of omnichannel content and data flows, including downstream systems such as websites, eCommerce, and retail/wholesale syndication.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner cross-functionally with IT, marketing, commercial, and external vendors to deliver scalable, integrated solutions.
  • Experience defining and enforcing data governance, quality standards, and operating models.
  • Proven track record of driving platform adoption, enablement, and change management across diverse user groups.
