Role and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
The Culinary and Stewarding Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the chefs and stewarding managers as well as acting as colleague relations support. The ideal candidate excels at working in a fast-paced environment where no days are alike. They will support the Executive Chef, Executive Sous Chef, Department Chefs, and Stewarding managers on a day-to-day basis. They will also be able to take direction clearly and execute at a high level while getting pulled in multiple directions. Previous hotel experience is preferred.
The Culinary Administrative Assistant shall strive to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times.
Essential job Functions (but are not limited to):
โ€ข Prepares PO's and process invoices and requisitions through Birchstreet procurement management system
โ€ข Assist with ordering uniforms and overseeing inventory par levels
โ€ข Place orders through Birchstreet system
โ€ข Submits monthly Food & Beverage accruals
โ€ข Processes weekly payroll and creates OT reports
โ€ข Ordering of office supplies & menu paper
โ€ข Performs monthly audits of online menus, outlet printed collateral, and digital F&B related
โ€ข Attends mandatory department meetings and appropriate division meetings
โ€ข Communicates all pertinent information to the outlet teams
โ€ข Ensures team submits weekly manager schedule
โ€ข Always maintains a professional demeanor and attitude
โ€ข Reports to work on time and according to posted schedule
โ€ข Performs other related duties as assigned
