What You'll Do

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Purchasing team while ensuring efficient daily operations and high service standards.

  • Partner with the Director of Finance to support financialobjectivesthrough strategic purchasing, inventory management, and cost control.

  • Oversee procurement, vendor relationships, and requisition processes to ensuretimely,accurate, and policy-compliant purchasing.

  • Maintain inventory accuracy by managing perpetual counts,monitoringstock levels, minimizing variances, andidentifyingslow-moving inventory.

  • Ensure storerooms and food storage areas are organized, secure, and compliant with health, safety, and company standards.

  • Drive continuous improvement by strengthening purchasing processes, supporting operational needs, and performingadditionalresponsibilities as assigned by the Director of Finance.

Qualifications

  • A collegedegree specializing in hotel/restaurant management or equivalent experience isrequired.

  • 2+ years of experience in a related position within a similar organization.

  • Knowledge of food & beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting.

  • Proven leadership skills in a hotel/resort environment

  • Highest level of integrity and transparency

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to prepare and deliver reports, effective presentations and tofacilitatemeetings

  • Excellent attention to detail andstrong desireto iterate and improve on processes

  • Highly responsive and collaborative, a team player who approaches work without ego

  • Experience inOpera, Micros,Simphony, Oracle NetSuite,Crunchtime, Paylocity, Book 4 Time, andPeoplevineSystems knowledgeisrequired

  • Have experience working with and creating Excel spreadsheets and other Microsoft Office products
