Job description

FlexStaff is looking for a Sterile Processing Supervisor. This is a permanent, full-time position at our client's Bethpage, Long Island facility.

Pay: $80,000- $90,000 (based on experience)

Location: Bethpage, NY

Shift: 2:00p.m- 10:00p.m. Must be available to work some Holidays and rotating weekends

In this role, you'll supervise and coordinate a team of 15 in the facilities sterilization department.

Ideal candidates should possess:

• An associate degree

• Current Registered Central Supply Technician Certification (CRCST)

• Relevant experience, including a minimum of 3 plus years of supervisory experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and train team members to achieve sterile processing goals.

• Schedule and assign tasks to team members and supervise operations in decontamination and sterile work areas.

• Inspect case cart requisitions for accuracy and coordinate the transport of carts to necessary facilities.

• Maintain inventory and stock levels.

• Ensure proper documentation of sterilization activities.

• Monitor the application of proper techniques during instrumentation processing, preparation, and packaging.
