Sterile Processing Technician

Location: Cherokee Nation Region

Pay Rate: $1,300 To $1,400 / Week

Contract: Contract

Schedule: Day Shift, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Experience: 3 years preferred

About the Role

We are seeking a Certified Sterile Processing Technician for a contract opportunity within the Cherokee Nation region. This role supports sterile processing operations for inpatient OR, outpatient OR, and endoscopy areas, requiring strong instrument processing knowledge, pediatric tray experience, attention to detail, and call availability.

Responsibilities

• Clean, decontaminate, inspect, assemble, package, and sterilize surgical instruments and trays

• Process instruments and equipment for inpatient OR, outpatient OR, and endoscopy procedures

• Prepare and manage pediatric trays, surgical sets, and specialty instruments accurately

• Operate and support equipment such as Arthrex, Steris, Olympus, and related SPD systems

• Follow infection control, safety, sterilization, documentation, and quality standards

Requirements

• CBSPD, IAHCSMM, Or Related Sterile Processing Certification Required

• AHA BLS Certification Required

• Pediatric tray experience required

• Sterile Processing Technician experience preferred; 3 years preferred

• Must be available for day shift, call coverage, 6 call days per month, and 1 weekend per month
