Job description

Find your calling at Mercy!Responsible for staff management, instrument procurement and processing for hospital/clinics. Performs primary functions of assessing, planning, directing workload within the department. Assists with budgeting for instrument replacements and repairs. Implements and maintains quality and integrity within the department byestablishing quality monitors. Evaluates new instrumentation. Enforces vendor policies. Implements and maintains electronic instrument tracking system. It's the expectation that the scope of this role will include duties and responsibilities at Mercy Hospital Springfield as needed. All standards, requirements, training, qualifications, competencies and job responsibilities stated here are assumed for all locations worked while under the capacity of this role. Performs duties and responsibilities ina manner consistent with our mission, values and Mercy Service Standards.Position Details:

Education: Requires high school diploma or GED equivalent.

Certifications: CRCST Certification through HSPA or CSPDT through CBSPD.

Experience: 3 years experience in Sterile Processing
Preferred: Previous supervisory experience
