Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Sterile Processing Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are thoroughly sterilized, organized, and available for use. Duties

  • Perform decontamination, cleaning, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instruments and medical equipment.
  • Inspect and maintain sterilization equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
  • Prepare and package instruments and supplies for sterilization, adhering to strict sterilization standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and inventory in electronic health record systems, such as Epic or Meditech.

Experience

  • Minimum 1 years of experience as a Sterile Processing Technologist in a hospital or acute care setting.
  • Proficient in sterilization procedures, instrument decontamination, and equipment maintenance.
  • Prefer experience in Ortho, General Surgery, ENT, Endo and Podiatry.

Requirements

  • Certification as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or equivalent required.
