Job Requirements

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Sterile Processing Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the central sterile processing department, ensuring the proper sterilization, handling, and distribution of medical instruments and equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a thorough understanding of sterilization protocols, and the ability to coordinate effectively with clinical and surgical teams to maintain the highest standards of patient safety and infection control.


Key Responsibilities 

- Manage daily operations of the central sterile processing department. 

- Coordinate the sterilization and preparation of surgical instruments and equipment. 

- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and infection control guidelines. 

- Train and supervise sterile processing staff to maintain quality and efficiency. 

- Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and equipment maintenance. 

- Collaborate with clinical teams to meet surgical scheduling and equipment needs. 

- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as necessary.

Qualifications
