Sterile Compounding Technician

Seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sterile Compounding Technician to join our pharmaceutical team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the preparation of sterile medications, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities include accurately compounding sterile medications in compliance with industry regulations and company policies, preparing and labeling medications according to established procedures, maintaining a clean and organized compounding area, performing routine cleaning and maintenance of compounding equipment, collaborating with pharmacists and other team members to ensure efficient workflow, following all safety protocols and maintaining awareness of potential risks in the compounding process, and participating in training sessions to stay updated on industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, proven experience as a Sterile Compounding Technician in a pharmacy or healthcare setting, strong understanding of aseptic technique and sterile compounding procedures, excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, effective communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a high level of accuracy.
