We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sterile Compounding Pharmacist to join our team in Palm Harbor, FL. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on sterile compounding experience and a proven track record of maintaining compliance with USP 797, and state board of pharmacy regulations. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, leadership, and the ability to collaborate effectively with technicians and quality personnel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily sterile compounding operations in compliance with USP <797> and state/federal regulations.
  • Prepare, verify, and dispense compounded sterile preparations (CSPs) with precision and accuracy.
  • Perform and document quality control checks, sterility testing, and beyond-use dating as required.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor pharmacy technicians in sterile compounding procedures and aseptic technique.
  • Maintain all documentation, logs, and batch records in accordance with regulatory and company SOPs.
  • Support audits, inspections, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control, cleanroom protocols, and environmental monitoring standards.
