  • LA Compounding Pharmacy is a patient-centered compounding pharmacy specializing in non-sterile formulations such as capsules, creams, gels, suspensions, troches, and more. We work closely with healthcare providers to deliver custom medications that support better outcomes and personalized care.

Job Description:

  • We are currently seeking a skilled and dependable Non-Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This role involves preparing high-quality compounded medications in a safe and compliant environment, working closely with pharmacists to ensure accuracy and patient safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Compound non-sterile medications such as capsules, creams, ointments, and suspensions
  • Measure, weigh, and mix pharmaceutical ingredients following precise formulas
  • Prepare and label prescriptions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
  • Maintain clean and organized compounding areas in compliance with USP <795> guidelines
  • Document batch records, logs, and prescription data accurately
  • Assist in managing inventory of raw materials and supplies
  • Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures
  • Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure efficient workflow and excellent service

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred
  • 1+ years of experience in non-sterile compounding strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with USP <795> regulations and compounding techniques
  • Strong attention to detail, precision, and cleanliness
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Comfortable working with specialized equipment such as balances, ointment mills, and capsule machines
