Position Overview

The Director of Business Development - Online Pharmacy will lead strategic growth initiatives, revenue expansion, and partnership development for BaRupOn's online pharmacy division.

This executive-level role requires deep expertise in pharmacy operations, digital health ecosystems, and scalable online pharmacy setup. The ideal candidate has successfully built or expanded an online pharmacy business and understands regulatory, operational, and commercial frameworks within healthcare.

This role directly contributes to revenue growth, national expansion strategy, and long-term market positioning.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Growth & Market Expansion
  • Develop and execute national growth strategies for the online pharmacy division
  • Identify new revenue streams, partnerships, and distribution channels
  • Conduct competitive and regulatory landscape analysis
  • Drive market penetration across multi-state pharmacy operations
Business Development & Partnerships
  • Build and manage strategic relationships with:
    • Healthcare providers
    • Telehealth platforms
    • Insurance companies & PBMs
    • Physician networks
  • Lead contract negotiations and high-value partnership agreements
  • Represent BaRupOn at healthcare and digital health industry events
Operations & Compliance Alignment
  • Collaborate with pharmacy operations, compliance, IT, and logistics teams
  • Ensure all growth strategies align with:
    • DEA regulations
    • State pharmacy board requirements
    • HIPAA compliance
    • E-commerce pharmacy regulations
  • Support scalable prescription fulfillment and digital infrastructure models
Revenue & Performance Leadership

  • Develop pricing strategies and service positioning
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Pharmacy, or related field (MBA or PharmD preferred)
  • 2+ years of business development experience in:
    • Online pharmacy

    • Healthcare services

  • Fully knowledgeable in pharmacy operations and regulatory frameworks
  • Demonstrated experience setting up or scaling an online pharmacy
