Job description

Southwestern Wire, Inc., a leading producer of chain link fencing & steel wire products, nationwide, is seeking 2nd Shift Production Workers for our Galvanizing, Wire Drawing, and Chain Link Weaving departments at our Tulsa, Oklahoma location.

What we are looking for: 
Someone who is willing to learn and set their own pace while working in a team environment. Reliability is a must.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Operate machinery used in the production process or assist machine operators.
  • A combination of working independently and with a group to meet production goals. 
  • Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
  • Observe equipment operations to detect malfunctions and notify operators of any issues.
  • Help maintenance workers by performing duties of lesser skill, such as supplying or holding materials or tools, or cleaning work areas and equipment.
  • Cut and weld metal to repair broken metal parts, fabricate new parts, or assemble new equipment.
  • Clean and lubricate equipment.
  • Keep work area clean and support other housekeeping functions. 
  • Other duties as assigned
