We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to build, maintain, and improve web applications and systems that support business operations. This role involves working across frontend and backend systems, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability while delivering high-quality user experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Application Development and Maintenance:

• Develop, maintain, and improve web applications using modern frameworks and technologies
• Build scalable and reusable components for frontend and backend systems
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Debug issues and resolve bugs in a timely manner
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and responsiveness
• Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards

Frontend Development:

• Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces using modern frontend technologies
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness
• Improve UI/UX and overall user experience
• Collaborate on design implementation and visual consistency

Backend Development and API Integration:

• Develop and maintain APIs and backend services
• Integrate third-party services such as payment systems, CRM tools, and data platforms
• Handle data flow between frontend and backend systems
• Ensure secure and efficient data handling

Integrations and Systems:

• Work with tools and platforms such as payment gateways, databases, and external APIs
• Implement and maintain integrations (e.g., Stripe, Supabase, HubSpot, Google Maps)
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues

Performance and Optimization:

• Monitor application performance and identify bottlenecks
• Optimize load times, API responses, and overall system efficiency
• Implement best practices for performance and scalability

Testing and Debugging:

• Test applications to ensure functionality and reliability
• Identify and fix bugs, edge cases, and production issues
• Maintain stability of live applications

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with designers, product teams, and other developers
• Communicate progress, blockers, and solutions clearly
• Contribute to planning, discussions, and technical decisions

Adaptability and Continuous Learning:

• Quickly learn and adopt new tools, frameworks, and technologies
• Work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred

Experience:

• Strong experience with Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS
• Experience working on production web applications
• Experience with frontend and backend/API development
• Familiarity with integrations such as Stripe, Supabase, HubSpot, or similar tools
• Experience with performance optimization and debugging
• Understanding of modern web architecture and best practices
• Ability to work within and improve existing codebases
• Experience with Git, version control, and collaborative workflows

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks
• Experience with REST APIs and asynchronous programming
• Familiarity with state management and data fetching (e.g., React Query)
• Knowledge of authentication, security, and data handling practices
• Experience with responsive design and UI/UX principles
• Familiarity with animation libraries (e.g., Framer Motion) is a plus

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

Work Environment/Physical Demands

• Work is performed in an open office environment that allows for collaboration inside and outside of your department.
• You must be able to operate standard office equipment (desktop, laptop, printer, scanner, etc.).
• Must be able to walk short distances and within the factory occasionally to perform job duties when necessary.
• May have to express or exchange ideas verbally to clients or the public and to convey detailed spoken instructions to other employees accurately, loudly, or quickly.
