WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
We're a diverse team with backgrounds in technology and entrepreneurship and we're growing rapidly to deliver on our mission. We're actively seeking a Program Manager who is a strategic and operational powerhouse with proven experience in business development, contract negotiation, and cross-functional leadership. They must be highly organized and capable of managing multiple, complex projects, including event execution and financial oversight.
The Program/Community Manager manages the 3-6 month acceleration program lifecycle. Responsibilities include tenant business development to drive growth, securing the sales pipeline via negotiations, and providing stakeholder leadership. You will also lead event management for signature sessions and execute community engagement & marketing through brand building and content creation.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE:
  • Program + Corporations/Startup Facing
    • Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders within our partner organizations and support adoption, renewals, and new revenue opportunities. Eventually, take over some of those engagements to manage, nurture and grow such projects.
    • Host events, track corporate participation with high attention to detail and design new ways to increase corporate engagement.
    • Own relationships with startups in the accelerator program
    • Hold intake interviews, exit interviews, and make sure all startups are on track to meet program goals
    • Grow ecosystem of mentors and VCs to bring more value to the program
    • Set up sessions for startups to meet with Mentors, VC's and corporate partners for the program
    • Collect feedback and develop an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement
    • Wrap up the program with a batch analysis report and individual startup report cards
  • Event Management
    • Lead design and execution of signature events (innovation days, pitch sessions, etc.), manage event finances (budgeting, tracking, POs), and build a network of vendors to enhance attendee experience.
    • Book venue, brainstorm content, outreach speakers
    • Prepare name tags, demo table signs, registration, printouts for events
    • Meet on a regular basis with stakeholders to make communication easy and project manage to do's for the team
    • Create and host events in person and virtually
  • Community Engagement & Marketing:
    • Create and co-host community events to continue engagement and grow the local ecosystem
    • Share upcoming events with network
    • Develop newsletters, social media, and reports, ensuring all materials comply with brand standards.
  • Building Tenant Business Development:
    • Identify target companies by understanding the startup ecosystem and real estate environment, and manage the growth pipeline for maximum occupancy and price.
  • Secure the sales pipeline by building relationships with entrepreneurs and decision makers.
  • Explain, negotiate, and prepare lease contracts, completing all necessary paperwork and maintaining digital records.
  • Ensure smooth traffic of startups in the property.
  • Produce and maintain internal and external sales and marketing materials.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Management or related field Project management / process improvement experience.
  • In-person and Virtual event organization and management
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
