Industry: AI / Revenue Infrastructure / SaaS
Compensation: $90K-$160K Base + Meaningful Equity
About Our Partner
Our partner is an early-stage AI startup building software focused on improving how modern revenue teams operate. Their platform helps sales organizations automate operational workflows, improve internal coordination, and generate deeper insights across the sales process.
The company recently completed a leading startup accelerator program, raised a strong Seed round from top-tier investors, and is experiencing rapid month-over-month growth. The team is lean, highly technical, and deeply product-focused, operating in a fast-paced environment where every hire has meaningful influence on the trajectory of the business.
The Opportunity
Our partner is hiring a Founding Operations Lead to help build and scale the operational foundation of the company.
This is a highly cross-functional role designed for someone who enjoys solving ambiguous problems, building systems from scratch, and operating across multiple areas of a startup. You'll work directly with the founders on company-critical initiatives including onboarding operations, customer adoption, hiring processes, internal systems, cross-functional execution, and strategic operational planning.
The ideal candidate is highly resourceful, operationally rigorous, and comfortable taking ownership without needing heavy direction. This role is intended for someone who wants broad exposure to how an elite early-stage company scales and who is excited by high responsibility and fast iteration.
Responsibilities
  • Build and improve operational systems, workflows, and internal processes
  • Support onboarding and customer adoption initiatives
  • Partner with founders on strategic and operational priorities
  • Help establish scalable SOPs and cross-functional processes
  • Coordinate operational initiatives across product, GTM, and engineering teams
  • Support recruiting coordination, hiring operations, and people-related processes
  • Assist with fundraising preparation and operational due diligence workflows
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and proactively implement solutions
Requirements
  • 2-6+ years of experience in Business Operations, Chief of Staff, Strategy & Ops, consulting, startup operations, or similar roles
  • Experience working at a Seed, Series A, or Series B startup
  • Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving ability
  • Experience building systems, workflows, or operational processes from 0→1
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous and fast-changing environments
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • High ownership mentality and strong initiative
  • Comfortable working closely with technical and cross-functional teams
  • Willingness to work in-person in San Francisco
Nice-to-Haves
  • Former founder or early startup employee experience
  • Experience supporting fundraising, hiring, or internal operations scaling
  • Experience working closely with product or GTM organizations
  • Exposure to SaaS, AI, or revenue technology companies
  • Experience in high-growth startup environments
Culture
The team values intensity, ownership, collaboration, and learning velocity. This is an environment built for people who enjoy moving quickly, solving difficult problems, and working closely with highly driven teammates in-person.
Our partner is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees and applicants.
