Each year, hundreds of entrepreneurs join our vertical-specific accelerator programs to team up with our corporate members or receive direct investment from Plug and Play. Plug and Play has over 45 locations worldwide, with corporate members including Daimler, Prologis, PG&E, Nissan, Volvo, BP, Walmart, Nokia, Coca Cola, and Doosan Bobcat, among others. Our proven investment track record includes Honey, Dropbox, Lending Club, Kustomer, Einride, and more.

Weโ€™re a diverse team with backgrounds in technology and entrepreneurship and weโ€™re growing rapidly to deliver on our mission. Weโ€™re actively seeking an Accelerator Director to manage our accelerator programs in Princeton, NJ.

Responsibilities
  • Sales: Build a robust pipeline of corporate partners from the Princeton metro area to participate in the program.
  • Manage the P&L of Plug and Play Princeton, driving sales growth and expanding the programโ€™s reach across the area.
  • Signing corporate partners drives revenue and adds value for startups that participate in the program. The role requires strong passion to grow the number of partners through sales and to create a world-class innovation platform in Princeton.
  • Curriculum Management: With the wider Plug and Play Programs Team, develop the 12-week calendar for the upcoming cohort, ensuring the curriculum is designed for startups and partners to maximize value.
  • Create a weekly content timeline (e.g., in-person mentorship sessions or digital materials) for startups.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant industry-specific issues.
  • Startup Matchmaking: Work with each startup to define metrics for success over 3โ€“6 months (funding, paid pilots, hiring, etc.).
  • Guide startups through the program to ensure deal flow sessions and mentorship are engaging and aligned with their goals.
  • Branding, Networking, and Events: Be the โ€œfaceโ€ of Plug and Play in Princeton. Develop strong relationships with key innovation stakeholders to attract them to our activities.
  • Attend tech events to raise brand awareness.
  • Occasionally travel to global locations to attend events.
  • Coordinate logistics with your team to plan and execute program events, inviting corporate partners to participate.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain relationships with funding partners and participating stakeholders. Go above and beyond to ensure partner satisfaction and met needs. Work with the team to collect data and deliver reporting to funding partners in a timely manner.
Qualifications
  • Masterโ€™s degree in Business, Management, Business Development or Science.
  • 3โ€“5 years of experience selling technology products into corporations or selling corporate solutions, industry initiatives, startup or investing environments.
  • Deep passion for entrepreneurship, AI, technology and innovation.
  • At least 3โ€“5 years of strong leadership and project management capabilities.
  • Professional written and verbal communication; public speaking.
  • Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Attendance policy: four days at the office. In-person collaboration is encouraged to foster execution, camaraderie, and creativity.
