Our client is an independently owned, mid-size, full-service recruiting and staffing organization headquartered in New York and with offices in 11 states. Since 1974 they have grown into one of the leading personnel service firms in the metropolitan area. They specialize in placing talent in temporary, contract and permanent roles across a wide range of industries. For over four decades, they've maintained a personalized, full-service approach backed by a deep market expertise. This commitment has earned them a trusted reputation in the staffing industry, built on delivery exceptional service to both their clients and candidates.

Our client is seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager for their Greenville, SC market to drive growth through new client acquisition, relationship management, and strategic sales initiatives. The ideal candidate will have staffing industry experience, strong networking abilities, and a proven track record of developing long-term business partnerships.

This hybrid role offers flexibility to work remotely while also attending in-office meetings, networking events, and client visits as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • New business development, including prospecting, cold calling, client visits, networking, lead generation, presentations, and securing new staffing accounts within the Light Industrial industry.
  • Maintaining and growing relationships with newly acquired clients, identifying additional staffing opportunities, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Administrative sales duties, including CRM updates, proposal preparation, contracts, pricing discussions, and internal communication with recruiting and operations teams.
  • Market research and strategic planning, including identifying target industries, competitors, and potential growth opportunities.
  • Business development and revenue growth within the Light Industrial Staffing industry.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of staffing industry experience required
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Experience using CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required based on experience
