In addition to its audio entertainment businesses, SiriusXM offers connected vehicle services to automakers.
How you'll make an impact:
SiriusXM continues to advance its in-vehicle experience through deeper OEM integrations, 360L capabilities, and connected vehicle services. In this role, you will drive execution across complex automotive programs spanning embedded software, backend services, and vehicle production milestones.
You will align engineering delivery to OEM launch timelines and contractual commitments, ensuring production readiness while modernizing the in-car experience. As a key partner to Automotive Product, Engineering, and OEM stakeholders, you will provide clear program visibility, proactive risk management, and disciplined execution that protects launch integrity, while helping SiriusXM continue to own innovation in the connected vehicle space.
What you'll do:
  • Become a subject matter expert in SiriusXM's Automotive domain, including in-vehicle integrations, 360L platform capabilities, and connected vehicle services, serving as a trusted point of contact across Engineering, Product, OEM partners, and Operations.
  • Drive end-to-end execution of complex automotive programs spanning embedded software, backend services, data systems, and vehicle integration milestones, ensuring alignment with OEM vehicle launch timelines and contractual commitments.
  • Lead cross-functional program planning across multiple engineering domains, aligning satellite, IP, platform, firmware, and partner integrations into a unified delivery plan.
  • Facilitate enterprise-level program reviews, readiness checkpoints, and milestone alignment sessions that provide executive visibility into automotive portfolio health, risk posture, and launch readiness.
  • Partner with Product and Automotive stakeholders to translate feature strategy into technically executable roadmaps that account for hardware constraints, regulatory requirements, vehicle certification cycles, and OEM-specific integration models.
  • Drive release coordination across software, firmware, and vehicle build timelines, ensuring disciplined alignment between sprint execution and fixed automotive production gates.
  • Forecast, surface, and mitigate cross-domain risks early, embedded dependencies, third-party integrations, or regulatory compliance.
  • Cultivate strong working relationships with OEM program teams, internal platform organizations, and executive stakeholders to ensure clarity, trust, and forward momentum.
  • Mentor and elevate other TPMs by modeling inclusivity, structured planning, rigorous risk management, and executive-ready communication.

What you'll need:
  • 7+ years of experience in software or systems engineering organizations, including at least 5 years in a Technical Program Management or Technical Project Management role leading large, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering complex, multi-team programs that span embedded systems, backend services, and customer-facing applications.
  • Experience working in or with automotive, embedded systems, connected vehicle platforms, or other hardware-integrated environments strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies and the ability to operate across Agile and milestone-driven hardware release models.
  • Experience managing programs with fixed external launch dates, regulatory considerations, or contractual delivery commitments.
  • Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, influence across organizational boundaries, and align stakeholders with competing priorities.
  • Strong technical depth, with the ability to engage meaningfully in architectural discussions, dependency mapping, and risk analysis.
  • Experience leading release planning and managing multi-layered dependency chains across domains.
  • Excellent executive communication skills, including the ability to present risk, mitigation strategies, and trade-offs clearly and confidently.
  • Experience with automation and/or AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
