What you will be doing:

The Senior Business Program Analyst is responsible for owning a portfolio of reporting and analytics initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and driving measurable business outcomes. This role serves as a key bridge between business and data teams—translating complex business needs into reporting solutions and converting data into actionable insights.

This is a highly independent role requiring strong ownership, strategic thinking, and the ability to proactively drive work to completion.

Key duties / responsibilities / accountabilities

Program & Portfolio Ownership

  • Own and manage a portfolio of reporting and analytics requests, driving prioritization, execution, and closure
  • Independently manage multiple concurrent initiatives with minimal direction
  • Establish and maintain tracking for requests, timelines, dependencies, and outcomes
  • Proactively identify risks, gaps, and delays, and drive resolution

Strategic Alignment & Business Partnership

  • Translate business strategy, goals, and operational needs into actionable reporting solutions
  • Ensure all reporting aligns to organizational priorities and supports performance management
  • Partner directly with leadership to understand reporting needs, priorities, and evolving requirements
  • Track leadership requests through completion, ensuring visibility, accountability, and timely delivery
  • Provide proactive updates to leadership on status, risks, and outcomes of reporting initiatives
  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and data/IT teams

Reporting & Analytics Leadership

  • Design, develop, and enhance dashboards, reports, and data solutions
  • Drive standardization and consistency across reporting outputs
  • Partner with data teams to define requirements and support development of reporting solutions
  • Continuously evaluate and improve reporting effectiveness and usability

Insights & Performance Management

  • Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across programs
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations
  • Define, monitor, and refine KPIs aligned to business objectives
  • Provide ongoing performance insights to support leadership decision-making

Proactive Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Independently monitor reporting performance and outcomes over time
  • Deliver proactive insights and recommendations—not just reactive reporting
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting efficiency, and data quality

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Coordinate across business, operations, and data teams to ensure delivery of reporting initiatives
  • Lead end-to-end execution of reporting projects, including requirements, development, validation, and rollout
  • Influence stakeholders and drive alignment across multiple teams

Key Skills

  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong experience with reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, etc.)
  • Ability to translate complex data into business insights and actionable recommendations
  • Strong project and portfolio management skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • High level of independence, accountability, and initiative
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Healthcare Administration, or related field
  2. 5+ years of experience in business analysis, program analysis, reporting, or analytics roles
  3. Demonstrated experience owning end-to-end reporting or analytics initiatives
  4. Required to uphold the principles of compliance as outlined in the Code of Conduct, Employee Handbook and related policies and procedures. Supports and participates in the mandatory Corporate Compliance Program training initiative on an annual or more frequent basis, as required.
