Job Summary
Senior Vice President (SVP), Operations
Reports To: Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Location: Multi-Site / Corporate HQ with regular travel to 52 locations
The SVP of Operations will serve as a critical executive leader accountable for the end-to-end operational performance, scalability, and standardization of a 300-provider, 52-location medical group. Operating in a dyad leadership model with clinical leads, the SVP will translate enterprise strategy into executable operating models, drive EBITDA expansion, and oversee a robust P&L across all physical footprints.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
  • Multi-Site Operational Leadership: Provide direct executive oversight for the daily operations of 52 clinics/practices, ensuring consistent patient experiences, optimized clinic workflows, and standardized clinical/administrative protocols.
  • Financial & P&L Management: Own full P&L accountability, including annual operating and capital budget development, margin discipline, and cost-structure management. Drive financial performance and operational KPIs across the entire provider footprint.
  • Standardization & Scalability: Build scalable operational infrastructure, systems, and dashboards to support rapid growth and increasing provider demand. Create a consistent operating cadence, including KPI reviews and metric-driven accountability.
  • Provider & Staff Alignment: Partner closely with regional administrators, practice managers, and physician leaders to drive provider engagement, retention, and recruitment. Cultivate a unified culture and accountability framework.
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure operational processes adhere to federal, state, and accreditation standards. Collaborate with quality and compliance teams to mitigate risk and maintain regulatory preparedness across all 52 sites.
  • Strategic Expansion / Integration: Support de novo site openings, M&A integrations, and market-expansion initiatives to seamlessly fold new providers and real estate into the broader enterprise.

Qualifications
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA), Business Administration (MBA), or related field strongly preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 to 15 years of progressive healthcare/medical group operations experience, with at least 5+ years in a senior multi-site leadership capacity (e.g., Regional VP, SVP, or COO of a large practice group).
  • Skills: Deep understanding of practice management, revenue cycle, staffing models, and matrixed operational leadership. Strong relational intelligence to navigate dyad models and lead through influence.
  • Travel: Willingness and ability to travel regularly between the 52 regional practice locations.
