Job description

Greenlight is the leading family fintech company on a mission to help parents raise financially smart kids. We proudly serve more than 6 million parents and kids with our award-winning banking app for families. With Greenlight, parents can automate allowance, manage chores, set flexible spend controls, and invest for their family's future. Kids and teens learn to earn, save, spend wisely, and invest.
At Greenlight, we believe every child should have the opportunity to become financially healthy and happy. It's no small task, and that's why we leap out of bed every morning to come to work. Because creating a better, brighter future for the next generation depends on it.
We're looking for a data-driven Senior Performance Marketing Manager to manage and scale our paid acquisition efforts across core channels to drive efficient, high-quality customer growth for Greenlight. This role will be responsible for optimizing CAC/LTV, advancing bidding and automation strategies, and building scalable performance marketing systems that accelerate both growth and efficiency. You should have hands-on experience managing, planning, launching and optimizing customer acquisition programs on performance marketing channels to drive sustainable growth at scale.
This role reports to the Director, Growth Marketing.
Your day to day:
  • Own Performance Marketing Execution. Hands-on, end-to-end performance marketing strategy driving efficient customer acquisition and long-term revenue (LTV) growth on dedicated channels and identified areas of the business.
  • Optimize Marketing Acquisition Execution. Manage and scale core performance channels with expertise on MetaAds, Google Ads (Search, YouTube, PMax) and other core performance/direct response marketing channels; continuously optimizing toward CAC, ROAS, and LTV targets.
  • Execute Advanced Bidding & Optimization. Leverage deep expertise in platform algorithms, bidding strategies, audience signals, and campaign structures to drive double-digit gains in both growth and efficiency.
  • Build Scalable Growth Engines. Develop and execute integrated, performance-driven marketing plans across paid, owned, and partner channels, aligning messaging, creative, and user experience to maximize conversion while maintaining Greenlight brand standards.
  • Manage Marketing Investment Portfolio. Own budget allocation and optimization across campaigns using a portfolio approach, dynamically shifting spend to maximize marginal returns and scale efficiently.
  • Understand Unit Economics and Contribute to Channel Forecasting. Build and manage detailed forecasts across spend, volume, and efficiency metrics (e.g., CAC, LTV, ROAS, payback), using data to inform decisions and ensure sustainable, profitable growth.
  • Optimize the Funnel End-to-End Through Cross-Functional Teams. Identify and execute opportunities across the acquisition funnel, from ad creative through landing page and onboarding, leveraging CRO, creative testing, and audience iteration to improve conversion rates and LTV/CAC ratios.
  • Drive Automation & Operational Excellence. Implement automation, AI tools, and scripting to improve campaign management velocity, reporting, and optimization workflows-establishing repeatable processes that increase speed, accuracy, and scale.
  • Establish Scalable Testing Frameworks. Build and operationalize statistically rigorous testing frameworks across channels, creatives, and landing experiences to enable rapid experimentation and continuous performance gains.
  • Translate Ecosystem Strategy into Action. Understand the role of each channel within the broader marketing ecosystem, leveraging attribution models and channel-specific metrics to optimize overall performance and business outcomes

What you'll bring to the team:
  • 8+ years of experience in performance marketing or growth, with deep hands-on ownership and expertise of key performance marketing channels; Meta Ads, programmatic media, Google Ads (Search, YouTube, PMax).
  • Proven track record of driving double-digit growth and efficiency improvements in CAC reduction + LTV increases over short time horizons (ie quarterly YoY).
  • Deep understanding of platform algorithms, bidding strategies, and campaign optimization techniques across major paid channels.
  • Strong experience with programmatic buying and bidding strategies, with the ability to evaluate and scale incremental channels.
  • Expertise in unit economics and forecasting, including CAC, LTV, contribution margin, and payback periods.
  • Experience implementing automation (AI tools, scripts, workflow systems) to improve execution speed and marketing performance.
  • Strong background in creative testing, CRO, and funnel optimization, with a data-driven experimentation mindset.
  • Experience managing both DTC ecommerce and/or subscription products and cross-selling.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate as a highly autonomous individual contributor, owning strategy and execution end-to-end.
  • Strong cross-functional collaborator, able to influence product, analytics, and creative teams to unlock growth.

Work perks at Greenlight:
