Operations & Program Manager
Seattle, WA 98122
Coyote Central is an education nonprofit that provides creative classes and public art opportunities to young people. Coyote Central sparks creativity in young people by putting tools in their hands to build skills and forge their future. Over 1,000 youth ages 10 to 15 come to Coyote Central year-round for hands-on workshops with professional artists, chefs, furniture makers, fashion designers, metal artists, animators, dancers, filmmakers, and many other creative people.
Coyote Central is seeking a full-time Operations & Program Manager to assist with leading a small, collaborative staff dedicated to expanding access to creative opportunities for young people.  Reporting to the Executive Director, this role helps ensure the organization runs smoothly and that workshops, classes, and events are implemented effectively.
Position Overview:

This role is primarily onsite while limited remote work may be possible for administrative tasks when programs are not in session. Evening and weekend availability is required during program sessions or special events.
Key Responsibilities of Operations & Program Manager:

Compliance & Safety (5–10%)
  • Maintain youth safety and protection documentation.
  • Track certifications, background checks, and required trainings.
  • Maintain incident reporting and documentation processes.
  • Maintain compliance-related records and support updates to procedures.

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in nonprofit operations, arts administration, program administration, or similar roles.
  • Experience managing programs, events, or community initiatives.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and administrative tools.
  • Demonstrated commitment to youth development, arts education, or community-based programming.

Preferred
