      • At least 6 years of experience in MS SQL server on Azure\/PostgreSQL administration and maintenance<\/span>

      • Understanding of Azure framework, MS SQL Server in Azure is a must<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
      • Able to install and configure the MS SQL Server, configure the SQL clustering, SQL Always On Availability Groups<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
      • Able to do the capacity planning based on the growth pattern of the databases<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
      • Have expert troubleshooting skills on the SQL Clustering environment and Postgres environment<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
      • Monitor, maintain database systems and troubleshoot problems that may arise<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
      • Strong Analytic skills, Data Modelling & Performance tuning in MS SQL server\/PostgreSQL<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
      • Perform Upgrade of databases to different versions of SQL and migration of databases from SQL server to PostgreSQL<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
      • Maintain data integrity and security (manage roles and permissions of database users)<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
      • Use tools like SQL Profiler, Database tuning advisor, Execution plans for database tuning and Index recommendations<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
      • Generate traces, execution plans, identify performance issues, deadlocks\/contention and resolve them<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
      • Develop strategies and implement solutions for managing back\-ups, restoration and replication<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
      • Strong knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Reporting Services (SSRS), and Analysis Services (SSAS)<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
      • Should be well versed with the SQL replication functions and Change Data capture process<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
      • Ensure timely completion of the Databases regular refreshes keeping all the reporting environment in sync <\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
      • Create detailed documentation including diagrams of database infrastructure<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
      • Learn relevant business processes and understand the data flow, criticality and dependencies<\/span>
