Job description

Overview
Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for the accuracy and flow of inventory through the distribution center by cycle counting, maintaining slotting profile, reviewing FIFO violations, expiration violations, and reporting opportunities to management. The position works closely with the management team to track trends and identify opportunities to improve.
Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
  • Document new items into the WMS system; ensure system is up to date with any changes to existing items.
  • Perform cycle counts on product to true up the inventory.
  • Check for proper rotation (FIFO) on all items in storage.
  • Verify all items are being stored in the proper temperature zone.
  • Record all damaged product and or poor quality product that are removed from the system.
  • Maintain slotting profile.
  • Manage reporting system.

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities & Physical Requirements)
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 years' experience in logistics, inventory control, supply management
  • Experience with Perishable foods preferred
  • Knowledge of WMS and /or ERP systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Pay Range
The pay range for this position is $20.19 - $28.17 / hour. Sprouts Farmers Market determines pay based on applicable experience and qualifications of the applicant.
