Job description

Overview

The Replenishment Analyst II is a key role within the supply chain organization.  The Replenishment Analyst II is responsible for the overall inventory management and flow of goods from vendors into our distribution centers for a subset of items or categories.  They will ensure that overall goals for store fill-rates, in-stock, turns,dwell-times, sales and margin are being met.  This position will work closely with the Manager of Replenishment, Demand Planning,Category Management and our Vendor partners to ensure the appropriate timing and flow of goods needed to meet category goals.

Essential Functions
  • Manages ordering parameters to meet KPI goals (fill-rate, turn, freshness)
  • Daily management of system exceptions to maximize fill-rates and freshness
  • Works directly with Inbound logistics developing cost effect routes while maintaining freshness goals.
  • Partners with the Demand Planner to help drive forecast accuracy
  • Clear communicator of known issues impact ability to meet KPI's
  • Ability to create strategies working with vendors to meet fill-rate, inventory, and freshness goals
  • Connected to the Manager of Replenishment, Category Manager, and Planning Analysts to ensure replenishment strategies align with future forecasted plans
  • Be an active participant to drive continuous improvement ideas for systems and processes
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Physical Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with a minimum of ten (5) years of experience in produce buying; or an acceptable combination of education and experience
  • Ability to successfully manage concurrent projects and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to supervise personnel effectively.
  • Ability to preserve confidentiality of information.
  • Sense of urgency with the ability to prioritize.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, & Outlook).
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  • Relex or similar Inventory Management tool experience preferred
