The pay range is $73,000.00 - $132,000.00

Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position.These include labor markets and in some instancesmay include education, work experience and certifications. As a Produce Buyer, Fruit, you'll drive omnichannel growth by developing profitable guest centric strategies & assortments rooted in insights, innovation, quality and emerging trends. You'll leverage a deep understanding of guest behavior and the competitive landscape to craft strategies that fuel category performance, drive market share gains and long term growth.

In this merchandising and sourcing role, you will own your produce category, building differentiated assortments that balance sales, margin, market share, freshness and supply chain complexity. You'll play a key role in delivering the Best at Home Eating experience by curating high quality, trend forward and exclusive offerings that set Target apart. You'll work cross functionally across your Business Unit, Quality Management, Marketing, Supply Chain, Pricing and Store Operations influencing partners and aligning strategies to drive results and deliver the Best at Home Eating experience across all channels.

Core Responsibilities

Develop and execute guest led category strategies that drive growth, profitability and differentiation

Analyze consumer trends, competition and supply markets to inform decisions and identify opportunities

Build and manage supplier and grower partnerships and negotiate contracts

Plan profitable assortments across stores and digital

Partner cross functionally with supply chain, quality management, stores and pricing teams to deliver seamless execution of your strategy

Translate business and financial performance into actionable insights while balancing margin, sales, market share and freshness

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target's needs. Current in-office expectations are Monday through Thursday, subject to change based on business needs.
