Functiebeschrijving

Je houdt van een uitdaging, neemt eigenaarschap en zet doelen om in resultaten. Als Category Buyer (Senior/Medior) neem je de verantwoordelijkheid over meerdere inkoopcategorieën (direct en indirect spend), afhankelijk van jouw ervaring en affiniteit (hout, lak, hang & sluitwerk, brandwerende toepassingen, glas, transport, diensten, enz… )

Je combineert een operationele focus met het vermogen om strategisch mee te denken en mee te bouwen aan de vooropgestelde doelstellingen. In nauw overleg met de Procurement Manager en interne stakeholders neem je het voortouw met betrekking tot strategische sourcing, leveranciersmanagement alsook kosten – en verbeterinitiatieven.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

  • Zelfstandig beheren en opvolgen van het volledige order-to-delivery proces binnen jouw categorieën.
  • Opvolgen en optimaliseren van voorraadniveaus & aanvoer van grondstoffen in samenwerking met supply chain en jouw leveranciers.
  • Overleg met leveranciers bij kwaliteitsissues, leverproblemen, e.a.
  • Signaleren en oplossen van knelpunten vóór ze impact hebben op de productie.
  • Ontwikkeling en uitvoering van risicobeheer en strategie per category.
  • Opbouwen en onderhouden van sterke en duurzame leveranciersrelaties.
  • Identificeren van kansen voor kostenbesparingen en toegevoegde waarde door innovatie of negotiatie.
  • Voorbereiden en voeren van onderhandelingen voor de beste prijzen en condities.
  • Analyse van spend, markten, trends, opportuniteiten & leveranciers.
  • Stimuleren van automatisering en datagedreven inkoop
  • Vergroten van spend-transparantie en leverancierscompliance
  • Identificeren van risico’s en ondersteunen bij het uitwerken van mitigerende maatregelen
  • Fungeren als aanspreekpunt voor interne stakeholders binnen jouw categorieën.

Je beschikt minimum over een Masterdiploma in een relevante richting. Je hebt sterke analytische skills, een strategische mindset en bent onderhandelingsvaardig. Je hebt minimum vijf jaren relevante werkervaring in een procurement en/of supply chain (productie)omgeving. Je bent tweetalig Nederlands/Engels, Duits en/of Frans zijn een pluspunt. Je bent administratief sterk, nauwkeurig en teamgericht.

Deze functie bevat veel mogelijkheden tot initiatief en zelfontplooiing in een groeiend internationaal bedrijf. Mogelijkheid tot thuiswerk en een flexibel uurrooster dankzij glijdende werktijden. We zorgen wekelijks voor vers fruit, geven incentives en organiseren leuke personeelsevent. De plaats van tewerkstelling is Bekkevoort, gelegen op de grens tussen Vlaams-Brabant en Limburg, ver van de dagelijkse files.
