REQUIRED PROCEDURES
  • General CV/Thoracic/Vascular Surgeries
  • Coronary artery bypass surgery
  • Congenital defects
  • Valvular repair/replacements
  • Aneurysm repair
  • Lung resection (including VATs)
  • Chest wall/pleural procedures
  • Esophagus/diaphragm surgeries
  • Endarterectomy (Carotid & Renal)
  • Ventilation management
  • Bronchoscopy
  • Evaluation & management of acute volume/BP issues
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Board: Board Certified in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery
  • Licenses: Active OH license or Universal License (IMLC) (LOQ in hand)
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, Board Certified in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery
  • Experience: Vascular surgery experience preferred
  • Other Qualifications: Clean malpractice/background with low payouts; must be available for entire coverage period
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide 24-hour call coverage for cardiothoracic and vascular surgery
  • Assist in office/clinic setting during clinic hours (Mon-Fri, 7a-4p)
  • Perform general and complex cardiothoracic and vascular surgical procedures
  • Manage acute volume and blood pressure issues
  • Evaluate and manage patients in ICU and hospital settings
