Job description

We are actively seeking talented Medical Assistant (Spravato) in Evansville, IN. The Spravato Medical Assistant is responsible for serving as a point of contact to coordinate medical care, providing support to patients and psychiatric clinicians, ensuring quality customer service to patients as they navigate the mental health experience.
$22 - $25 an hour
Spravato Medical Assistant
The Spravato Medical Assistant supports psychiatric clinicians in delivering safe, high-quality patient care and treatment services. This role oversees day-to-day treatment operations, rooms patients, obtains vitals, administers medications as ordered, monitors patients throughout treatment, maintains clinical documentation, manages medication and supply inventory, and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.
Additional responsibilities include providing patient education, coordinating with pharmacies and referral partners, assisting with prior authorizations and patient paperwork, and supporting clinicians with administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, highly organized, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and committed to delivering an exceptional patient experience.
Qualifications
  • Certified Medical Assistant required
  • High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1+ years of healthcare, clinical, or customer service experience preferred
  • Current BLS certification
  • Proficiency with EMRs and Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements

Location: 100% onsite at a LifeStance Health practice location.
