Position Overview:

The On-Air Toploader is a key supporting role during live sports card streams, serving as a “co-host” and right-hand team member to our on-air breakers. This role ensures cards are protected, organized, and accurately handled in real time while contributing to a fun and professional streaming environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about sports, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy live production setting.


Key Responsibilities:

Live Stream Support & Production

  • Assist on-air breakers by preparing, sorting, and handling cards during live streams.

  • Sleeve and topload cards quickly and carefully, ensuring proper protection for high-value items.

  • Keep the live show flowing smoothly by anticipating needs and supporting breakers on demand.

  • Maintain accuracy in card sorting, labeling, and preparation, even during high-volume breaks.

  • Monitor live chat and contribute engaging, sports-related dialogue to enhance the viewer experience.

Sports Knowledge & Engagement

  • Stay current on sports news, leagues, players, and trends to provide relevant commentary.

  • Support breakers and audience engagement with accurate, friendly, and professional sports insight.

Team Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with the production team to ensure efficient workflow and a high-quality broadcast.

  • Use basic computer tools (Google Docs, Sheets, etc.) to track cards, inventory, and streaming notes.

  • Communicate clearly with the team to prevent errors and ensure a smooth, professional on-air experience.

Customer Service & Sales Support

  • Contribute to a positive customer experience by maintaining professionalism and enthusiasm on-air.

  • Support sales and customer satisfaction through accurate handling of product and engaging interaction with viewers.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Passion for sports and knowledge of major leagues and players.

  • Detail-oriented and comfortable handling high-value collectible cards.

  • Fast, efficient, and able to multitask in a live, high-pressure environment.

  • Friendly, professional, and engaging both on and off camera.

  • Trustworthy, dependable, and able to communicate clearly with team members.

  • Comfortable with computers and online platforms (Google Suite, streaming interfaces, etc.).

  • High school diploma or GED required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in sports cards, collectibles, or retail.

  • Experience in live-streaming, broadcasting, or production environments.

  • Familiarity with TCGs or trading card markets is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods during live streams.

  • Ability to handle and organize cards, sleeves, and top-loaders carefully.

Work Environment & Schedule:

  • Fast-paced live streaming environment combined with retail operations.
