Job Title: Systems Administrator

Job Location: Alexandria, VA.

Clearance Required: Secret

Employment Type: Full-Time/Exempt

 

Job Description:

Syneren is currently seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to join our team. This is a pivotal role responsible for the Windows Server administration and management of our Azure cloud On-Prem infrastructure, ensuring our systems are secure, scalable, and resilient. Contractor is required to be onsite.

Essential Job Duties

Minimum Qualifications:
  • At least 5+ years of proven experience as a System Administrator
  • 2+ years' experience managing Azure services (including windows VMs) in an Azure Government cloud.
  • Experience Managing Windows Servers 2019/2022
  • Expert on DoD patch Management and Vulnerability Remediation (Process and Tools).
  • Experience going through a migration of systems from on-prem to Azure Cloud.
  • Understanding of Azure services and solutions, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, and Azure Networking.
Trellix, Forescout, Citrix, IL5 On-Prem, creating new AVD groups, STIGs, F5, Load balancers, Sintinel, Configuration Management, Change Request process, Firewall Configurations.Load Balancing (F5, Netscaler), ForeScout, Active Directory: Policy, Identity and Access Management, CAC/PIV experience, DNS Domain Naming System.
 
Azure Infrastructure Management
Azure Infrastructure / Enclave Management Black/Red Subs
User account management via Active Directory or Azure AD
Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure resources (VMs, storage, networking, etc.)

Manage Azure Active Directory, role-based access control (RBAC), and identity services
