Job description

Arconic is currently in search of an Inside Sales Representative to join our Kawneer Business.

You have:

  • Associate degree/ High School Diploma

  • Ability to read construction plans and specifications

  • Strong communications skills

  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in sales, project estimating or related construction field.

  • Ability to travel 5%-10%

  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Architectural Aluminum Industry

  • Familiar with Kawneer line of products

  • Experience in an inside sales position

  • Salesforce CRM experience

In this role, you will:

  • Drive revenue growth through proactive outreach, account penetration, and implementation of selling initiatives.

  • Drive increased In and Out orders through the service centers in your region where applicable

  • Increase % of digital Kawneer Direct usage among customers inclusive of education and training.

  • Act as a customer advocate - present data and make recommendations as to course of action to business leaders and act within defined decision-making authority to drive Ease of Doing Business with Kawneer;

  • Ability to reach across departmental boundaries to satisfy customer inquiries;

  • Manage issues outside the traditional bounds of responsibility when required to satisfy a customer or business objective

  • Collaboration with the outside sales team

Also note:

  • Execute against sales targets including revenue growth and other strategic KPIs

  • Understand strategic initiatives and influence customer behavior -understand and gain market share, competitive pricing and market intelligence.

  • Prioritize and manage a high volume of smaller revenue accounts and transactions- C customers

  • Provide feedback to commercial and marketing teams.

  • Coordination of customer contact with local outside sale representative on order pursuit of selected projects.

  • Utilizing Salesforce CRM, update gained intel regarding status of opportunities in sales notes

  • Take ownership of customer issues and drive to resolution.

  • Provide support and anchor with internal employees to negotiate competitive pricing, quality, delivery and lead-time with customers.

  • Ability to work in tactical administrative team environment from focused problem solving to customer care and support throughout any given day - admin activities to problems solving/decision making (both ends of the spectrum);

  • Manage day-to-day activities and execution of our customer connection - follow up on and review material proposals and lead times to Kawneer customers; being proactive when dealing with the customer and heading off issues before they arise; asking for orders; thanking the customer for their business.
