Job description

Spanish-Speaking Manufacturing Liaison

Department: Manufacturing / Operations

Reports To: Manufacturing Manager / Plant Manager


Position Summary

The Spanish-Speaking Manufacturing Liaison serves as a communication bridge between Spanish-speaking production employees and management. This role supports effective communication, employee engagement, training, safety compliance, and operational efficiency by ensuring that critical information is accurately conveyed and understood in both English and Spanish.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•    Facilitate communication between Spanish-speaking customers, employees, supervisors, managers, and support all departments. 

•    Interpret and translate verbal and written communications related to production, safety, quality, and company policies. 

•    Support training initiatives by translating training materials and assisting during training sessions. 

•    Help employees understand work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality requirements. 

•    Participate in safety meetings and ensure safety information is effectively communicated. 

•    Assist Quality Department with employee communications, documentation, and workplace concerns as needed.

•    Available to work on all production shifts.


Qualifications

Required

•    Fluency in both Spanish and English (written and verbal). 

•    High school diploma or equivalent. 

•    Experience working in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, or industrial environment. 

•    Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 

•    Ability to accurately translate technical and operational information. 

•    Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications. 

•    Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

•    Ability to read, interpret documents, communicate effectively across all levels and present information to various groups.
