Amergis Healthcare Staffing is partnered with a much-respected school in Methuen, MA who is currently seeking a qualified School Psychologist to assist them on a contractual basis.


Details of the position include:

Position: School Psychologist

Description: 

HALF- TIME SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST (K–12) Key Responsibilities Provide individual and small-group counseling to students with trauma and emotional disabilities Conduct psychological and educational evaluations for IEPs Collaborate with teachers, behavioral staff, and families to develop intervention strategies Support crisis response and safety planning Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP development and progress monitoring Promote a positive, inclusive school climate through trauma-informed and evidence-based practices

Pay: $68/hr

Location: Methuen, MA

Facility Type: School

Start: 8/17/2026

Duration: 39 weeks

Hours: 20

Shifts: Flex schedule

 Requirements:

Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field (Required) Valid Massachusetts School Psychologist License or Certification (Required) Experience with trauma-informed care and students with social-emotional disabilities Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment Preferred Qualifications Experience in therapeutic or special education school settings Bilingual (Spanish or Portuguese) a plus Familiarity with MTSS, or restorative practices
