Reports to: Spa Manager

Position Overview

The Spa Attendant at Carneros Resort and Spa plays a key role in ensuring a luxurious and seamless spa experience for guests. This position is responsible for maintaining pristine spa facilities, assisting guests with amenities, and supporting the overall operations of the spa. The ideal candidate is attentive, service-oriented, and detail-driven, with a passion for wellness and hospitality.

Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Experience & Service Excellence
  • Welcome guests warmly and provide a relaxing, luxury experience from arrival to departure.
  • Escort guests through the spa, explaining amenities and services available.
  • Offer refreshing beverages, towels, and any additional comforts to enhance relaxation.
  • Ensure spa areas are fully stocked, clean, and organized, including lounges, locker rooms, and treatment spaces.
  • Assist with scheduling inquiries, appointment confirmations, and guest requests.
  • Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
Spa Operations & Facility Maintenance
  • Maintain spa cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with luxury hospitality guidelines.
  • Monitor and replenish linens, robes, slippers, and spa amenities throughout the day.
  • Ensure hot tubs, steam rooms, and relaxation areas are functioning properly and presented impeccably.
  • Support therapists and estheticians by preparing treatment rooms and ensuring necessary supplies are available.
  • Assist in retail areas, restocking products and providing basic recommendations to guests.
Collaboration & Team Support
  • Work closely with spa therapists, front desk associates, and management to ensure seamless operations.
  • Assist in setting up and breaking down spa events or special experiences.
  • Maintain strong communication with all departments to provide exceptional guest service.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in luxury hospitality, spa, wellness, or fitness center settings preferred.
  • Strong guest service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to anticipate guest needs.
  • High attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
  • Knowledge of spa amenities, wellness treatments, and self-care products is a plus.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work weekends/holidays as needed.
