Trilogy at Vistancia is comprised of three feature club experiences, the golf club, the original community centerpiece, Kiva Club, and the recently introduced Mita Club. The golf course, the feature restaurant, V's Taproom, the full-service Alvea Spa, and the events & weddings venue are all available to the public.
Where: Peoria, 40 minutes west of Scottsdale & Northwest of downtown Phoenix, Arizona
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Benefits:
New hourly full-time team members working 30 hours or more per week, will be eligible for the Company medical, dental and life insurance plans the first of the month following 60 days of full-time employment.
Full-Time team members are eligible to accrue Paid Time Off ("PTO") in accordance with the Company policy at a rate of 120 hours per year.
Full-Time team members are eligible for 7 paid holidays annually.
Part-Time team members are eligible to accrue Paid Sick Leave in accordance with state guidelines.
All team members 21 years and older are eligible to participate in the J.F. Shea Co., Inc. 401(k) plan after completion of 30 days of service.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Spa Reception Attendant manages the front desk and provides exceptional customer service to members and guests. Professional and friendly communication, coordination, and cooperation sets the tone for positive resident and guest attitudes while visiting the Club. This position reports to the Spa & Fitness Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Greet and welcome members and guests in an energetic and friendly fashion, according to BlueStar protocol, via phone or onsite. Respond to requests and direct calls to staff members and relay messages.
  • Schedule reservations for personal training sessions or fitness programs.
  • Maintain daily standard operating procedures for the opening and closing of the Spa & Fitness Center, including a walk through the center for a general inspection to assure the fitness center is neat and clean, set up properly, and visually meets Club standards.
  • Monitor Club and fitness rules to ensure they are being enforced.
  • Be aware of the daily calendar for Club and fitness activities and respond to fitness related questions.
  • Enter member profiles and conduct member orientation for equipment use.
  • Sell retail and fitness passes.
  • Handle cash and card transactions, ensure charges are accurate, and return correct change to guests.
  • Report maintenance and safety issues to a supervisor or maintenance staff.
  • Become knowledgeable about facility services and programs to encourage members and guests to dine in the restaurants and participate in spa, salon, and fitness services.
  • Fold guest towels as needed.
  • Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • One year relative receptionist or customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of fitness, aquatics, salon, and spa standards a plus.
  • Computer literate.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide; must be able to calculate discounts and percentages.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memorandums.
  • Ability to communicate positively and effectively with team members and supervisors about job tasks and responsibilities.
  • Desire to contribute to a productive work environment by maintaining a positive attitude with team members and the public.
  • Must be self-motivated, follow direction, and able to work independently with little supervision.
  • Must demonstrate initiative, with an ability to think, work, solve practical problems, and make independent decisions based on sound judgment.
  • Must have good time management, organization, and follow-up skills.
  • Must be able to consistently achieve high work standards; attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness is expected.
  • Must be able to pay attention to multiple details and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where continuous improvement is expected.
  • This position requires a flexible schedule to include evenings and weekends.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position operates indoors and routinely uses standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, copy and fax machines. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

The employee must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
